Nektarios Kontovrakis was born on the island of Aegina in 1951. He served his apprenticeship under Professor of Athens School of Fine Arts Nikos Nikolaou. From 1979 to 1981 he studied in art studios in England. His work hangs in banks, public and private collections. He lives and works at the island of Aegina, Greece.
